How fees work

A little clarity on what you’re paying for, what’s included, and how bookings work.

What you’re paying for

The planning fee pays for the thinking behind the trip - not the trip itself.

It’s the research, conversations, decisions and coordination that turn “Where should we go?” into a trip that actually feels right for you - your time, budget, pace and preferences.

Your travel costs - flights, hotels, transfers, experiences and everything else you choose to book - are separate.

What the planning fee covers

Depending on the plan you choose, this can include:

  • Understanding what you want from the trip before recommending anything
  • Researching destinations, hotels, routes, experiences and practical details
  • Working within your budget and preferred pace
  • Narrowing down choices so you don’t have to make every decision yourself
  • Building the route and day-by-day flow
  • Refining the plan until it feels right
  • Booking support where included in your plan

Bespoke Plan typically covers trips of up to 8 days / 4 people. Larger or more complex trips are quoted separately based on the work involved.

Premium Bespoke+ is typically 10% of the total booking value, with a minimum upfront payment of ₹12,000.

What you pay separately

The planning fee doesn’t include the actual cost of your trip.

Those costs are paid to suppliers and can include the following, depending on your requirements:

Flights, Hotels, Long transfers, Airport pick-up & drop, Experiences, Meals, Tickets, Visas, Internal travel, Attractions

Each supplier has its own payment, cancellation and refund terms.

Who books?

  • With Bespoke Plan, Inspigo does the planning and you make the bookings yourself.
  • With Premium Bespoke+, we take the booking work off your plate wherever possible.

Here’s how that works.

Premium payments

  • Premium Bespoke+ is typically 10% of the total booking value, with a minimum upfront payment of ₹12,000.
  • The ₹12,000 is not an additional charge - it is adjusted against your final planning fee.
  • Once the balance is paid, your final digital itinerary is shared for sign-off. Once approved, the print-ready version is shared within 2–3 working days, followed by your mobile itinerary cards.
  • All of this is included in Premium Bespoke+.

Example: bookings total ₹2,00,000 → 10% = ₹20,000 → ₹12,000 upfront → ₹8,000 balance when the itinerary is finalised.

Premium bookings

  • Where a supplier allows us to secure a booking without upfront payment, Inspigo can hold it for you.
  • Where a supplier requires upfront payment, you pay the supplier directly using your own payment method. We don’t advance supplier payments from our own funds.
  • If a hold requires your confirmation, payment or details before a supplier’s deadline, we’ll let you know. If we don’t receive what is needed in time, the hold may have to be released and the original availability or terms may no longer be available.
  • Once your booking is confirmed and handed over to you, it follows the supplier’s own terms.

If your plans change

Once planning has started, the planning fee is non-refundable because it covers work already completed.

If your trip is postponed or cancelled before travel, the planning already completed can be carried forward when you travel later.

If your travel dates move significantly, some hotels, restaurants, experiences or routes may have changed or become unavailable. In that case, the itinerary may need a little refreshing.

The fee pays for the work that goes into creating your trip - not simply for holding a place in our calendar.

By purchasing an Inspigo plan, you agree to our Terms & Conditions.
